Car Dose not START!!!! only when i drop clutch.
So i call my buddy so i can go over and we can finally fix his Z28 and we just can't seem to start the bitch. So hears the deal. First he turns the key all the way and nothing happens but all his displays and lights work so we decide to test all the fuese's so we do and there all good, we even used a testor for that. So then we think its a the started becasue he hasent turned it on in a long time so we then go under the car and hit it while he is turnning the key and nothing once more.
So we switch battery's amd still nothing so then finally his dad come in and tells us to move aside and let the a man handle this **** so he gets in and rolls it off the driveway and drops clutch and bang, the car starts great with out any hessatation or anything bad, car sounded great. So were still scratching are heads over this matter, we have no idea but our main guess is the starter or the ignition reley. Can someone tell use maybe whats wrong with it, iam going to look it over in my chilton book and see what i find there. Thanks
My buddys car is a 1995 Z28 No mods but exhuast and no cats.

Your starter be dead, had the same thing exactly with my car
NOTE: I guess the most economical way is actually get the starter tested first before you buy anything new at the parts store, its not too difficult to get off.
