Default oem convertor color

does gm make a light blue(light baby blue) torque convertor?
just trying to figure out what i have, coming from a 95 lt1 , I have papers from a pervious trans rebuild so its possible to have a diff convertor

ive had two 95's one had a blue converter like youre talking about and the other wasnt. so im still up in the air about.

It is not uncommon to at least cut the converter apart and check it out, if you are rebuilding the tranny. You have to make sure there is not any trash in it. And all companies paint there converters different colors so no telling? Mine is painted a copper color.

I just so happened to take the scatter shield off the tranny and saw what looked like a newer looking tc. The car is a 95 with 84k miles on it. The pervious owner gave he recripts from a tranny rebuild, I was just cleaning the under neath a bit from a manifold leak that i just fixed
