Default SES Light??

I have recently changed my Opti & after the instal i noticed that the SES light is on i checked if the mechanic had broken anything but everything is fine.any ideas?
Note:i installed a impala ss opti could this be any different?

to my knowledge there is no diffrence in the opti's other than vented and non vented.see if you can get a trouble code number and go from there, an ses light can be one of a hundered things, that is why there is a code for every sensor in the system.

A trouble code would be quite helpful.
