Default new setup no oil pressure

put a new set of heads, le2's and a cam xfi cam. new pushrods lifters and several other goodies. either way i cant get any oil pressure at first it was getting some but when i drove the car for the first time the pressure kept going to zero and stalling the car. what can i do?

might have spun a bearing if your driving with no oil..i lost pressure and spun mine

Don't run it anymore. You can first check the oil pump drive under the intake. Then you should check the oil pump and main bearings.

Make sure the check ball under the back main cap was installed. Unfortunately you will have to pull the motor to verify.

However, it may not be your problem. It would have zero oil pressure at all times if that check ball is not installed, not rising and then falling to zero.

Check ball? I just removed the main caps off and LT1 and there was no check ball under the back cap. Where abouts would the ball go? and what size is it?

i had similar issues, turns out the engine builder left out the front galley plugs.
