Straight swap, just bolt 'em on and plug 'em in.

straight up swap, like everyone else said.... no modifying anything to make them fit. Have fun finding a PAIR in good shape for less than $200. Also good luck with the conversion they look awesome.

I got lucky and got mine when I was rear-ended a few years back, it was the only good thing that came out of that accident...

i kinda like the lt1 tails my self... but after a while the start to leak and delaminate... i dont know if the ls1 tails have that same problem or what.... the only part on the lt1's i dont like is the relector thing across the bottoms.... now early style v6 before the honey combs are just disgusting... only have seen one car they look good on... and it was a black drag bird....

Yea, the V6 tails are hideous.

I'll never understand why somebody couldn't love a set of LT1 tails in good shape.

exactly...they look great if you can actually find a set in good shape. Most of them however, are delaminating like mine. I may just shoot mine with some niteshades.

I love the LT1 tail lamps, but they all turn to **** and look horrible, if mine were in good shape I would have never gone 98+. The LT1 tail lamps are a lot like the 98+ Camaro lamps, with age they turn to crap and look terrible.

The honeycomb lights look better than the lt1 t/a lights. I don't think the better looks justify them costing so much but maybe if I had the crappy v6 tail lights I'd swap
