Question Innovate LC-1 wideband install

Has anyone done this install on their LT1. I bought the innovate wideband with the DB gage. The instructions are real crappy. Just wondering if anyone has installed this kit on their LT1 and where did you mount it.

I had my WO2 (Widband O2) on my Drivers header and the gauge mounted in a pillar pod.

Tony.

thanks. seen that video not that helpful the first time around. a little better the second go around. let me get this striaght since i got the DB gauge not the xd16:

i dont need to install the the little red button and led that came with the kit.

i dont need to do the hookup to the headlights for the dimming function. (did u do this? how does it look with it without this feature?)

im confused about the whole programming the analog outputs

Did you get instructions on how to wire the gauge itself up?

If so, push the LC1 install manual aside and install from the gauge manual its much easier, and yes you do need to put the 'red' button on so that you can calibrate the free air.

you will need a laptop to program the analog outs.
if you have one don`t bother with the button or led.
just use the logworks program to watch the calibration process.

yeah i have a laptop. the main reason i bought the innovate system was because it came with its own software. i just don't know a damn thing about wiring so I'm a little worried. i have no idea how or where these analog cables should be in the car or where to run them to. did you have to add length to yours? the bad thing is they don't provide install pics. of course everyone runs their wires differently but some generic pics would have been nice.

nope the gauge came with the kit an had no manual. looks like im just going to have an installer do the wiring and gauge. i'll do the final sensor and calibration hookup myself. where did you put your red push button?

I would put it on the header collector or right befor the cat on the I-Pipe

IMHO rear mounting the sensor is for Temp use IE: Dyno etc.. I wouldnt want it back there 24/7 but some people do that.

Tony.
