97 camaro m6
I am going to check out a 97 camaro m6 2morrow and just want to know what I should look for? The car has 85k and it has no carpet, the pass. window doesnt go up or down and the rear and front bumper need paint. Hes asking $4500.What do you guys think?

your going to need to put your foot in it and see if the motor (rpms) stumble. < checking for bad opti. other than that, i guess just check for your normal stuff like knocking and such. sounds ok to me.

- Our water pumps will fail after so long and leak onto the optispark distributor. Ask about and look at the WP.
- Plus, the stock opti's will just die on thieir own in the higher miles so, ask about that.
I'm assuming its not low milage? Yeah, I would figure out a number to the cost of fixing those little problems and take it out of whatever blue book is... I just tried a few different options on KBB and came up with a private party value around 4500-5000 using 100k miles. Assuming it runs with no stumbling, no lag, no missing, no vibrations--I think around like 3500-4000. If there's any noticable leaks, or engine issues listed above then its obvilously less.
