where is the best place to put the qtp cutout on my 94 formula? what size is the stock exhaust pipe before the cat?

nighthawk is right. also put the cut out in the I-pipe right before it goes over the rear axle.

No room for a cutout before the cat,you'd have to chop off your cat,which im sure would go REAL well in california we can do that here in oklahoma BTW 3" is not the stock exhaust size,but 3" makes it alot easier to install when its getting welded in,i'd go with 3",the exhaust shop will thank you for it.

Ok 3" is what I used when I got mine installed wayyy back when. I just assumed it was the exact size of the stock pipe.

oh ok i thought it might be a clearance issue.. that blows. so i should install it after the cat under the passenger seat? thats the 2nd best lol

yea, it will be right behind the passanger seat before the pipe goes over the axle. that way if you use an electric motor to open and close the cutout there is an indentation on the floor board to where you can turn the cut-out motor upwards so it doesnt hang low and get ripped off.
