Default rear sway bar necessary?

i just got my car back a couple days ago. runnin good. the shop said they would have to fab up some brackets to get my rear sway bar to work with my 12 bolt. is the rear sway bar necessary? ive been driving around for a couple days now, seems ok without it. i haven't thrown in through any hard corners or anything though. they plan on putting in on for me but i was just curious as to if it was really necessary. i read that alot of people take off the front sway bar but never heard of anybody not running a rear.

definitely necessary especially launching, unless you go 4-link then it's not needed but also rough on the street with a 4-link.

your stock sway bar should have bolted right up, I don't understand what they did that causes you to need brackets for your sway. When I ran a 12 bolt I had no issues with my sway bolting up.

Yeah that's what I did on my 9"--big u bolts. Bolted up fine other wise. If I ever have to take it off though, I'll have to cut the u bolts cuz torque has wrapped them around the axle tubes!
