new lifters? comp OE, comp "R" GM OE, LS7?
I'm thinking about buying a new set of lifters for my car, the factory ones have 90k on them.
I'm not really sure how much a set of Comp lifters cost (never priced them). but I know I can get 16 brand-new, stock replacement GM lifters from the dealer, for around $55 bucks.
I've heard talk of using LS7 lifters for their cheap price, and added stability in the upper RPM range (not sure if that would really apply to an LT1) 16 of them can be had for around $100 bucks.
what's everyone think? anyone using LS7 lifters in their cars? I know the part's-store brand lifters are junk!

Are you doing any other mods? If you're just going to replace the lifters, I would say don't even bother as long as they're working for now.
Even with the rollers, they wear into the cam. If you're going to replace the lifters, you may as well replace the cam as well.
FWIW, the stock lifters in my car lasted 230,000 miles and still work well.
