no i have an aftermarket one, but ive went back and checked all the wires at the connector and the all have power where and when they are suppost to. i even sent a false signal to the vehicle speed sensor wire just to make sure it wasnt a sensor problem, and it still doesnt work. thats why my last thought is that something is wrong in the box. i was just wondering if this is a common problem. ist only got about 70k miles on it but its 14 years old so i dont know, could be i guess

Perhaps a problem with your switch?

Are you using any electronic box to adjust for gear change? Once I installed the SLP speed recal. box my cruise stopped working.

Also, double check all of your brake lights are working, if any are out, even a bulb for the third brake light cruise won't engauge. No idea why, but that's does effect the C.C.

yea true, the guy still hasnt sent me a pm back since yesterday tho

and good ideas Pampered-Z, but like i said, i am getting a good signal from my speed sensor wire, i even generated my own signal with an MSD tester, and still nothing. and i am getting power to the power wires and ground to the grounds, and my bulbs are good. the cable is not jammed, and the mechanical parts in the box all seem to be working. the only thing left is the motor and circuit board in the box
