Hi guys, just curious if anyone here would know if I have to pull my front timing cover off to change the opti and waterpump seal. I have finally had it with leavin a drop or to of oil where ever i stop so tomorrow im pullin the two off and finding the offending seal (my hopes are to not have to pull the timing cover to change those two out).

No you don't have to pull the timing cover.

There's actually a sleeve used by dealerships for the water pump drive seal. It goes over the shaft to keep the lips of the seal from turning the wrong way. If they are the wrong way, it will leak! I have been able to borrow the toolkit from my dealer everytime cuz the service manager's nieces used to work for my dad.
