Sounds normal to me. Fully warmed up? Which oil are you using?

god i dunno but im about to switch to mobil one. i didnt do the last oil change. it just seemed low. i had a few problems so i was checking. the first one was i had that spout that came off the valve cover like 4 inches up with the cap on it, and that snapped off, so i just screwed the oil cap on the the valve cover, and thesecond was when i dropped the tranny for the clutch, i noticed the rear of the oil pan was homemade silicone gasket all the way and there was some oil on it. so i had to remede that before i got oil on a new clutch. just making sure my oil pressure was ok. thanks

If you go Mobil 1, the thinner weights historically have not been that great for LT1 based on experiences from some of the members here. 0w-40 European Formula and 5w-40 Turbo Diesel Truck are probably a little better in terms of wear number and viscosity. If you stop into Advance before tomorrow, either of these two are on sale for $4.98/qt. I picked up 8 qts of the 5w-40 for my next change.

Yea, 15psi is normal warm idle. If it's only 20psi when you're driving, then I'd be a little worried.

With the 5w-30, that's all you're gonna see.
