Default 93 LT1/95 LT1 cam differences?

What are the differences in the camshafts from a 93 LT1 to a 95 LT1? - I now have a cam for a 95 LT1, that I want to put it in a 93 LT1.

Thanks

Well I think, all you have to do is pound in the dowel. Then again, it might be it NEEDs the dowel There's also the duration and minor lobe change. I can't remember, but I thought the 93s had the better cam, I'm probably mistaken though.

I was asking about cam physical differences as far as it fitting in and operating the motor - the specs are not an issue.

Thanks!

Cam fits right in. The 92-94 LT1 uses a short dowel pin. The 95-97 LT1 uses a longer dowel pin to drive the opti, unlike the earlier splined drive that sat in the center of the cam gear.

So as long as I put a short dowel pin in the 95 LT1 cam everything works in the 93 LT1 motor?
