Default Vacuum Leak

So after my idle was screwy last week I noticed it sounding really airy and hissy so I think I have a vacuum leak. I opened the hood to see if I would find any hoses that were loose or off and I didn't see any but the sound seems to be coming from the drivers side of the intake manifold around halfway back or a little farther. It's coming from that general area. My idle and everything seems fine now but it still sounds like I have a vacuum leak. Any idea what could be off

Also when I turn off the engine I can hear what sounds like air being sucked into the motor for like 1 seconds after its shut off

That last 1s noise is just your motor acting normal and you hear it because of the CAI/RAM Air. Or so I think at least I don't have any problems and mine does that as well.

if you really want to find out if its leaking... spray carb cleaner around the area you think is leaking... if the car bucks or surges, then you've got a leak in that area

Would WD40 work?

Use Carb Cleaner, it works best 2 fold: It evaps quick, so no mess, and it's highly flammable, so that's why it causes the rev up. The WD40 probably wouldn't cut it. Brake cleaner might, but it's a lil caustic to plastic/rubber.

Guess I'll have to stop by the parts store and get some carb cleaner. I'm at school and all I have is WD40
