Default couple new bests and VID

I had a couple new bests at the track rental today. I ran 9.38@146.56 on blower only. I'm really suprised at the MPH with the terrible air we had it was actually to foggy to start on time crazy! Humidty was in the 90% area all day. on the 100 Shot I went 9.06@151.48 unfourtunatly I was spinning on this pass dammit! I think it was more because the track went away than the suspension. Tyson worked on the suspension all day adjusting my new stuff and it was working great untill the last pass when I decided to make a full hit. Oh well 8s soon!

Wasn't this car on pinks once? If not one very similar, been a while since I saw it. I think his name was Jeff also. If so, that is a good running car

Little by little you are chipping away at it. You should hit that 8 your next time out! Good luck getting in there.

Ya i'm the guy that raced the civic on pinks. Since then I freshened up the motor and got rid of my AFR 190s in favor of a set of AI TFS heads and AI ported stock intake and man do they work! I also did some weight reduction some suspension work etc. The set up is basicly the same other than mentioned above and its way faster! I know it has an 8.8x in it and probably a little more

Jeff AWSOME time man, I remember you telling me you were using Meth to cool the intake charge so are you even using an intercooler or just the meth.
Do you happen to know what the IAT's are???
Reason is I have the same intercooler KP has and it works Great on his car, and I should get more air flow to mine since I have a modded bumper cover.
I guess one of the pros to not having an intercooler is its not absorbing any or your boost though.

Also what 60 ft are you cutting?? And what type of suspension is under that rig?
Your car sure is moving, thats a lot of MPH considering its what 3500 lbs roughly.

You can make alot more power without an IC I think I have proven that. I don't know of anybody going as fast as I do with a D1 @ 3560 pounds. I just use straight meth with my ALky controll dual nozzle kit and it cools things down a good bit. I don't get good readings of how much it cools things off because of the IAT placement but I know its working I cut a 1.38 on the 9.38 pass I have cut a best of 1.35 on just the blower. I just changed my LCA and Panhard to some Chromoly Peformance Auto Fab peices with Spherical rod ends I was munching poly bushings so I got rid of those in favor of all rod ends. I also have the Spohn drag race sway bar spohn drag race TQ arm and Qa1s.

Thats one nice car! I'm sorry I didn't make it out to the rental. Tyson is working on my suspension, too and we wanted to get a base line before he sets the preload, etc...Oh well, I wound up getting tied up at work and couldn't make it...Tyson knows his stuff and he'll help you get the launch worked out...Its bad *** to see LT1s going that fast...Good luck with everything...

wanted to bring this back up so i can find out did anything happen prior to you going for the 8 sec slip Jeff????

cuz my car is running now and I went 10.60 all motor.... i'm also going for the 8's......

we didn't even set the motor up at all for NA and it shocked us with 10.60's so we know it's gonna be crazy on two units.....
