Default raditor is a bitch

is it just me or taking out and installing a raditor is such a G*d D*mn Bitch it takes me longer just to install it then anything else on my opti swap ....man i need a ....any one else have problems or am i missing an easier way to do it

it is but to get the condesing unit to fit in those lil slots on the radiator is the worst design in my eyes it took me an hour to get the raditor granted im by my self 2 people woulndt of been so bad but damn i hated it

i didnt even take the whole radiator out when i did mine....only the fan shroud

I didn't remove the radiator either for my opti swap. I also just pulled the fans.

Yup just taking the fans out should give you more than enough clearance to get the opti taken out. I would only take the radiator out if your doing a camswap

lol... well you could jsut cut the core support and put in a radiator like me =D... no more a/c though unless you feel like scrounging up a smaller condenser off some other car and making it fit.

Radiator is one of the simpler things to do, but like everything else on an LT1 it can be a pain sometimes. It's nothing too difficult, but even after draining it as much as you can sometimes you still end up getting an antifreeze bath and busted knuckles

I have installed everything on my car myself from heads and cam to full suspension and I swear, the only thing I have done to my car engine wise that went as smoothly as planned was changing the MAP sensor!
