I have a 1995 camaro z-28, I have a cat back, MAF, cold air, shift kit, programmer, and a 75 shot of nitrous. I am getting headers in about a week. Just wondering what else to do.

The car most likely will improve power wise, but it should be tuned for optinum performance and reliability

Some sponsors sell tuned PCM's but there are companies like PCMforless.com, Madz28, or Ed Wright who can do a file and email it to you if you have a laptop and ALDL cable, OR send you a pcm and you send yours in for a core.

over on Camaroz28.com they have a pretty big LT1 section you can find all the contact info there. I personally used on my mail order tunes PCMforless.com If you want a ***** on tune, consider a dyno tune but it is expensive and I wouldnt recommend until at least a cam goes in.

By programmer, I assume you mean Hypertech. Just return the car stock and stick that on Fleabay. On nitrous, do at least a 125 hit. Pick up an ignition box as well. They're good for the nitrous and really smooth out the throttle response.

Just to mention in general all the safety stuff you can run with nitrous kits is a good thing, just incase you move up in shot. Bottle pressure guage, Fuel Pressure Guage, Activation switch, window switch for RPM's, colder plugs (NGK tr-4's) etc etc

Have you done anything to the suspension? Perhaps you should spend a few dollars there before trying to make higher HP numbers? If you can't get it to the ground, then it's going to be useless.

One last thing before my lunch ends....

I think what we are all driving at is what will be the expected plan of the car, because you have ALOT of choices but limited funds, so basically write down what you want to do with the car and from there I think we can help you with the game plan.

I have done nearly every mod to a LT1, some work, some dont, some can be held off alot longer then others and others have to be done ASAP.

Post up what you want to do..... 1/4 only car, a Boulevard Crusher, Daily Driver, A combo mix.

Ok i have about $2000 to spend. I am def buying headers, and roller rockers. I was told to buy the HOT CAM, but after all the reading i have done i am not going to do it. I think that i am going to wait i little longer on the cam. I am thinking also a throttle body and a tune. But the throttle body and the tune and not for certain yet.

Ok i found it on pcmforless. It is 175 plus shiping. So i am going to do the headers which i have decided that i am going with pacesetters long tubes which is about $400 for y pipe and headers. Now i want to do the 1.6 Roller rockers, I dont know what ones to go with. Has any one have anything to say about the vortech roller rockers? Is there any advice about a throttle body?

Rockers- Comp Cam Pro Mags or GM perf parts 1.6's nothing else
You need to do springs, and decided on Self aligning (for you I recommend) or on wilder set ups down the road NON self aligning w/ guide plates.

i gotta run to a meeting, feel free to pm me if you have questions

Ok, What kind of springs do you think would work, and where would be the best place to get the springs.

918's work great, no modifications needed, i.e. no machining work. I dont hav the part number for the cups. That I would ask maybe an engine builder. There are other brands. I only ran 987's which required machining and the 918's when the Bret Bauer cam went in. The 918's do require a NSA rocker due to the valve stem tip.

I would do a search. or a seperate post.

As for Throttle bodies, at your power level, stock is fine, maybe have it ported or go to a 52.mm unit. 58 is a little over kill and you need to enlarge the bore of the intake to make use of it.

I beleive holley makes a throttle body with a integrated n2o ports.
