Default recharging your A/C?

Well, i have been driving my dads SS around lately. He has no cold air coming out of the vents. his AC obviously needs to be recharged. He, ofcourse, says theres nothing wrong.

I just want clarification on how to recharge the A/C. what type of Freon do i need?

You should be using R134a refrigerant. You can buy one of those kits at any auto parts store, it's very easy to do. Just follow the instructions on the box.

I don't really remember, it's been quite awhile since I've recharged one. Shouldn't cost more than 30 or 40 bucks, I think. Just go on autozone.com or something and check it out.
