Default How to tell if your car came with a stall??

I recently bought a used t/a with some performance stuff on it. It is supposed to have a stall installed in it also but how do I check with stall is installed? I hear I have to powerbreak or something to check if I have a stall on my car. But I just happen to burnout???????

Well ok, when I shift it to park and not press the gas, it'll roll forward. It'll move forward at 2000 rpm.

when in "D" hold the brake pedal down hard while pressing the gas slightly when your at a stop and see how far you can get the RPM's to go up. should give you an idea on what kinda stall you have

If it's a stock stall, your tires should spin around 1,200 RPM or so with stock gears.

Hold the brake as hard as u can and ease on the gas, watch ur rpms see how high they can get b4 the tires start to spin.... it wont hurt anything... thats how u break stall up the car.,.. it is a very common way to launch a stock A4

you could get under the car take off the dust cover(4 bolts) and look at it. stock stall is a dull bronze color. anything else black, gray, red, pink would be a replacement stall.

yeah... the easiest way is to hold the brake and give it gas. the car will hang at a certain RPM... thats your stall. dont do it too long though, you'll heat up the trans fluid real quick
