Default Emergency Brake cable snapped! OH NO

Has anyone ever replaced the emergency brake cable on our cars? I have a 95 and I have been gutting the interior to replace and clean everything really well and last night i pulled the handle and boom. Don't even know where to start and any help is appreciated.

I have done it three times on my car. You want my advice get one thats and Ac Delco part. I bought the one from Autozone and i have broke each one. To fix it you have to remove the center counsel. You can do it with the driveshaft in but its easier to take it out. Its all pretty self explainitory when you get the center counsel off. I would first go under the car to see what cable it is first there are three. One that goes from the handle to the back two then one for each wheel. I always manage to brake the brass T where all three connect. That part is attached to the one that goes to the handle, you could get lucky and have broke just one of the rear ones. Then you wont have to take the center counsel out.
