Hey guys... some of you may have seen some of my earlier post about my new magnaflow muffler...well i finally got it put on..and it sounds great!! But i do have one more question...Since i dont live in a emissions area and i have a family friend always do my inspection....sould i remove my cat?? Would it sound better or worse?? please let me know what you guys think.

I would either do one of two things. Leave it on, or remove it and put on a magnaflow 'glasspack'. I can't remember it's actual name, but it's not a glasspack, it just resembles one. It's not a resonator either. Basically it's a race muffler, but will help keep the throaty sound you have now, instead of making it raspy. Which really turns in into a resonator of sorts heh.

if you have stock headers it will sound worse. real poppy and raspy. dont do it

well, im getting ready to buy some pacesetter LT's and Y-pipe...and put that on...that was when i was gonna remove the cat

take off cats for one thing..will sound better..anyone who says cats sound better when on have not heard many cars.
