Readjusted the roller rockers after 114k, what a difference!

Default Readjusted the roller rockers after 114k, what a difference!

I was suprised that I actually felt some gain in the car after just torqueing them.

Good to see guys who actually take care of these old LT1s and do preventitive maintenace like this.

What method did you use?

What I did was I took off the rockers, got some moly grease and readjusted them first by putting the crank at tdc and tightening down the intake rockers and exhaust rockers, and then moving in to bdc and tightening down the rest. the rockers still make noise, but the car seems to pull harder and have crisper throttle responce.

Good to hear, Im pretty sure mine need to eb adjusted but since the RRs are about to go on, it'd be redundant.

I cant picture my Throttle response getting better, its already like a hair trigger. I love it.

Nothing like playing with the throttle
