Default need your advise

i have a lt4 vette and i have a buddy offering me a free soild roller cam with all the parts(roller rockers, cam with 112lsa 230 236 at .50 and .565 .550 or very close to that dont remember the numbers, lifters, dual springs, valve seats) all i would need is push rods and valve locks but what i want to know is with no head work and a bottom end with 80,000 plus and no headers would there any power gains with a tune or should i just say screw it and wait for couple years and save the some money and put headers and worked over heads and freshen up the bottom end

thank you for you help

does the solid roller have the correct nose on it?
What I am talking about is the step on the nose for the cam retainer plater and the 1/2 inch hole in the center?

If not, I think I would pass.

Why would you get a solid roller that small?

Hydraulic is easier if you only want a mid-range cam (which that is).
