Well i finally started tearing into the car this weekend, and when i was pulling off the timing cover i realized that the drivers side bank was missing the 3 o clock oil gally plug. Anyways i got some other debris in the pan and was wondering if anyone has ever just used a cross brace on the engine and dropped the k member and pulled the pan? looks like its simple enough as many times as ive had the engine out of it.

also any one know what size those plugs are and where to get threaded ones? i should have just threaded it to begin with.....

I dropped mine before without taking out the kmember. Just loosen the kemember bolts and let it hang down about an inch, then pull the motor mount bolts and raise up the motor slightly and it comes out.
