Default Comp Cam

I've got that cam. It sounds great and makes alot of mid to top end power. I had my car on the dyno but learned it had two dead cylinders. 303 rwhp/ 292 rwtq it made 288 rwhp and 309 rwtq stock I replaced the optispark, plugs, and wires and it runs much stronger. I have another dyno appointment on Friday. I'll post the results this weekend.

It's prolly a great lil cam but most guys won't fool with it because it's pretty small. Most larger cams work really well with the LT1 AND CAN BE TUNED TO BE VERY DRIVEABLE

You can run a hotcam and pass CA emissions which is bigger in the duration and LSA catagory, thats where the power is made.

The HOT cam is a tighter LSA and ALL the off the shelf stuff is in a wide LSA for drivability and emmissions reasons and it hurts power.

Default Cam

onephatz28, Hey sorry man I looked at my cam card and I have the Comp 280XFI HR-13 not the 260. I'll still post my dyno results but it looks like the 280 is a bigger cam.

Default Cam

I made 371 rwhp and 351 rwtq at the dyno on Friday. It went 12.59 @ 112 mph with a 1.9 60 foot today (26X11.5 MT ET Streets). I broke some teeth on my ring and pinion on my third pass The car has ported heads and intake a 52 mm throtle body, electric water pump, long tube headers, and all the other normal bolt ons. Hope this helps.
