Default Firebird/formula front bumper on T/A?

Hey, I've seen this a few times on LS1 bodies and it looks pretty good but I'm curious if it would look alright on an LT1 style Trans Am. Any thoughts/opinions/pics?

I actually prefer the LS1 Firebird front end to the T/A front end. Fewer holes makes it look sleeker IMO.

My understanding, is he was asking about LT1 Formy front ends on a T/A. I prefer the T/A front end on LT1s, but the Formy front end on LS1s.

If I misunderstood, well you still got my opinion

^^ Nah, that's what I was asking. I know, it's just kind of hard tracking down a LT1 T/A front bumper and it does look better that way on an LS1 body but I don't have the money for the front end or else I would already have a red LS1 WS6 T/A front to match my rear. I'll probably just end up getting raped and paying for this bumper I found... atleast its new.

I've considered putting a T/A front bumper on my Formula because I've always liked them. I've seen a few cars that have done this and it looks pretty good. I'd really like a Ram Air hood though.

Make sure it's period correct. Not the LSx ram air on LTx.

Thanks- yeah, I do know about the hoods not being interchangeable. I've seen a hood that has LS1 style bulges, think it's called the Warbird hood. I like that one and the stock Firehawk hood- hafta see how finances go next spring.

thats what I did with mine!

although my nose is very beat up now. someone backed into it in a parking lot and it has spider cracks all over. when I get a new nose for it I think I'll go back to a formy nose. trans am noses look great, but my car is not a trans am.

sexasomniac, do you have any more pics of your car. im partial to green firebirds

Really nice looking car dude- always loved them in green. I think the T/A nose looks perfect.
