Brake light My brake light is on but my brakes work fine and the emergency brake isnt on so what would cause it to be on?Thanks. Its a 1995 A4 if that helps.

could be a few things, but right off, I would immagine that the switch on the emergency brake is shorted, pull the center console out and unplug the wire that runs to the emergency brake and see if it goes out.....

Its your emergancy brake system. I had the same issue, its pulled just enough that it makes the sensor go off.
I NEVER used my ebrake.
But when I did my 12 bolt swap my brakes came off and when they went back on the light came off. Prob old age and rust.
