Has anyone used these heads or have you guys heard anything good about them?

I run them. They are decent heads. They are designed for a 383 or boosted 350's. They have bigger chambers which kill the compression a bit when put on a stock 350. I still run them on a stock 350 block, it wasn't my original intent. I am sure that I am down on power compared to if my compression was back to stock. They have a ton of potential if you decide to send them out to get ported by someone like advancedinduction.com . Out of the box they flow around 250ish at their peak, a stock LT1 head will flow about 210ish. There are a lot of aftermarket shops that can port stock heads well beyond what a box-stock trickflow head can do, for around the same amount of money if not less.

For most guys ported stock castings are the right choice, they can support substantial power when worked by the right shop.
