Default Are there two types of header bolt pattens on LT1s?

I have 2 different sets of headers for my Camaro (both are made for my year camaro) and one of them, the back bolt holes on the header are out farther and there is no hole drilled out that far on the heads. The hooker headers line up fine, but have round ports instead of D ports like the other set. Whats up with this?

those holes can be utilized when you break header bolts and have no way of extracting them. done it quite a few times
