Need a little more info on the car.
How new are the spark plugs? How new are the plug wires?
Does it only hesitate at low rpms? How does it behave at WOT?
Is there is Check Engine Light?
Does it occur only when the car is warmed up?
I would start by pulling the plugs, and replacing them if you don't know the last time they have been replaced. A new set of plug wires wouldn't be a bad idea either. Make sure to use a little bit of dielectric grease inside of the boots when you put it back together. Also make sure that you've got a good connection from the opti to the ignition coil.
If it is still stumbling -- what is the status of your O2 sensors? How recently have they been changed? If the car is running like crap at part-throttle, but doing alright at WOT then it might be your O2 sensors.
I would replace the plugs/wires first before doing the O2 Sensors, but if you don't know the last time they have been replaced, it wouldn't hurt to replace those as well.
