i think its the o2's!!
hey guys im goin to pick up a 97 z28 on sat wit 79k on it for cheap,
there is one thing wrong wit it the guy says the car will start fine and run perfect but after bout 10-15 min it starts runnin like **** bad
So here is what i think it is sounds like the 02's are bad on it wouldnt that make since since they dont start workin till after the car is warm up
let me kno what u guys think or if im worng haha thanks

idk if it was the opti would he still be able to drive it everyday back and forth to work he only lives bout 3-4 miles from work and drives the car back and forth everyday and it drives perfect but drive it longer than that and it starts crapin out

There is alot of things it could be man. If the o2s are bad it will more then likely set a lean code or a o2 code. If it starts acting up when hot it could be the coil, ICM, plugs, wires, ECT, injector, exhaust leak.

Simple check I would do if I had this problem. Take the car out at night. Get it up to full operating temperature. Run one or two WOT passes. Stop and pop the hood. Are your headers/manifolds glowing? If so, replace the O2's. Check for vac leaks.

If it was bad ignition it would likely run poorly all the time.
You can do the following as a test to be sure though, unplug one or both of the o2s and see if that improves things (it will stay in open loop and not use the o2s if they are not both plugged in). If it does then you know that is the issue.
