where is the cheapest place to get one? i think i found one for 98 dollars, do they get any cheaper?

also, i take it they are a direct replacement and dont need a new regulator or anything right?

I just put one in my car a few weeks ago....direct replacement. When you get the sending unit out...take off that plastic housing off the stock pump...I didnt put the Walbro back in it...used some hose clamps to secure it to the sending unit.

Nothing else needed to install it.

BTW the trap door method made it a piece of cake...hardest part was getting the sending unit apart. Also...my car picked up with this and a new filter.

Ive heard ebay was the cheapest...but I bought mine off here from someone that didnt use it for whatever reason...was brand new.

Good Luck!

thanks for the info

im not sure what the trap door method is exactly but dont forget my pump is in a 62 falcon tank so if it has anything to do with an f body tank it doesnt effect me. the way i have my tank set up, it takes all of 3 minutes to unbolt the pump and pull it out

appreciate the offer but im gonna look around first. if i can get a brand new one for 100 or less im gonna do that. half the point of getting it is to have a new one that wont fail on me when i go to myrtle beach or other road trips and not lookin for a used one. thanks tho, i might hit you up if nothing else works out

i bought mine from summit. it is listed as a granatelli, but is a walbro pump. it is not any louder than stock if you use the rubber boot around the pump. good luck, and btw... the one from summit took a tiny bit of fab to work, nothing serious though. common sense and you can figure it out

BBK, Holley, and granatelli are all walbro fuel pumps. Thats why its so much cheaper to buy a walbro, i havent put one in my car yet, but last one i purchased i got from ebay.
