It is time for me to sale!
With a new baby and no time for it. I have decieded it is time for her to go. What do you guys think i should list it for. It is a 95 Formula A4 T-tops Power locks and windows. It has a 383 With Lloyed Elliot stage 2 heads an 847 cam comp R lifters. Made 417 RWHP 496 TQ. i have put in a Performabuilt tranny with a VIG 3600 STall Converter with an S60 (dana 60) rear end with a cromoly driveshaft. the Paint is in good shape except for on the top the clear coat is just started to peel. It has 125000 on the odometer but about 3000 on motor and less than 1000 on rearend and about 250 on the tranny and TC. I was thinking about listing it for 9000 but i would like some opinions Please.

Seriously, part it out man, you wont make a dime of your money back on it. You can get good money for the parts in that car, atleast 4k worth, then sell the car for 4 or 5k and you have 8-9k for the car. It will be VERY hard to sell an lt1 for 9k when you can buy an ls1 for less than that.

I would def part it out. Everyone knows that you have quite a bit more than 9 G's in that car. But the sad truth of the matter is people buying cars look at that odometer and resale value. You gotta lot of top of the line LT1 stuff that could sale in the LT1 section.

I know but that requires alot of work swaping out parts. with a 2800 stall and 342s it went 11:80s at 117 with a 2.1 60ft now i have a 3600 stall and 373s and she wont hook for nothing. I thank you guys for you input I dont know what i need to do. I dont have time to start pulling everything out and replaceing it all. I know i am tageting a very small market with this car. I may just have to keep it But i dont need to.

Man thats a nice car , sucks you might sell it. Im pretty sure around where i live , you could get 9k with those mods especially , but like they said most people would buy an ls1 car for that instead. Maybe you can get lucky and sell it as a whole.

Well let me show you what I mean. I bought my friend matt's car b/c he didnt want to part it out, and wanted to sell it as a whole. Got a 96 z28 with 100k miles, cam, vig stall, cpt tranny, moser 12 bolt, prostars, SS 10 spokes, roll bar that wasnt in the car yet, nitrous kit, msd box, and other little things. Bought the car from him for 7800, b/c no one wanted to buy it, car is IMMACULATE, best looking lt1 you'll ever see. Anyways, sold the CPT tranny for 900 including someone's stock tranny as a core, rebuilt that tranny for 300, now i'm down to 7200 purchase price. I took EVERYTHING else off the car and sold the car for 6k. So I got a moser 12, nitrous, roll bar, prostars, msd box, and a couple suspension parts for 1200 bux. I'm telling you, you can make a lot of money back if you go this route. It actually took me a while to sell the car for 6k, so you may not even see that much, it was like 9 months before the car sold.

I agree or i would have to find a motor to put in. Man i love this car and have owned it since 99 but if you have kids you know what comes first. I just love it when someone tells me it just an LT1 I grin ear to ear and then comence lessons. But i drive it maybe 40 miles every 3 months tops. I think i am going to post it whole and see what happens.

i parted out my project i got my money back and got extra 2g and got to keep some parts that came on the car when i bought it. you will sell the drivetrain quickly but the parting out the body will take a little while but i think its worth it considering you would sell the car as a roller for couple hundred or more depend on condition and mileage but if you part it out i bet you will make more than what you are asking for the roller. happened to me
