Default 3.73 will take how many 10th off 13.4 run

hey whats up iam looking at a set off 3.73s and want to know how many 10ths i was looking at knocking off..... i run a 13.4 with 2.73s in my lt1 firebird and was just looking to see if anyone would have any good guesses the time with 3.73s from a 13.4

wat are ur other mods? u should create a sig it would be very helpful... but with the no info u gave us i would say a tenth maybe 2... if u hook like u did that run and the weather is the same

i say it will help out a lot since you have somewhat of a cam there so it would keep you in the high rpms more. gears are not as useful with a stock or small cam

As pointed out above, often “individual mods” don't yield any improvement in the 1/4. However, everything collectively (cam, headers, gears, stall, slicks) will add-up and really improve the performance in the 1/4. Basically, with high performance mods the “sum total” is often much greater than the individual parts. So, start planning your mods looking at the “big picture” and don’t worry about each item. They’ll all come together in the end and you'll spend some money getting there.

What was your '60 foot time for that run, were you spinning? If you can hook it then maybe 2 tenths or even 3 because you only have 2.73's now.
