Taking offers, this is a VERY nicely done car, to build this car yourself would not be cheap. To have someone else build it like Thunder racing....OUCH.

If I cant get enough out of it to get a nice similar Fox body coupe roller I will just keep it.

my chassis is very simular to yours.I would be very interested to know what it is worth as well.I often wish I went the foxbody way as well the parts are so much cheaper and it is so easy to get them thing light.
I have done just about everything I cam do to make mine light and it is still a 3200 lb pig

Keep your Camaro man. It's sweet. Fox bodies may be light, but what's sweet about a V8 Escort?

SPEED! Thats what, you can make a Fox coupe 2900lbs, as compared to my 3470lb car WITHOUT my 325lb butt in it.

Say your car runs 10.90@3800lbs, at 3300lbs it will run 10.40 and be ALOT easier on parts, easier to hook the car etc. Not to mention you can stand over the fender and work on the thing.

What did it take for you to get the rear tires to fit? How much did the wheel and tires cost you total? Car looks awesome.

Don't do it! You'll regret getting rid of the body...You can make that thing hook, just gotta work at it a bit...Thats a nice looking car I'd keep it and the motor together...

I wouldn't do it man. Yes a coupe will be lighter for sure, but your car is very well done. In order to have a nicely done coupe you pretty much have to end up doing the work yourself. Those cars are either done well, or hack jobs and for some unknown reason the resale keeps getting higher and higher for them. I like Fox bodies for the purpose of racing, but for a street car I really hate the interior and as far as comfort and ride quality I think they suck.
