Is it making any noises to go along with the vibrations. The fact that it does it in park rules out quite a few things. I would start by checking the balancer and pully on the front just because they will be the easiest to see. The next thing would be to pull the dust cover off and check for a broke or loose flex plate or loose torque converter. If that all looks good, you can unbolt the converter and push it back far enough to crank the engine. If it stops vibrating with the tc unbolted, it's probably time to pull the tranny.

Vibration in park eliminates the driveshaft, rearend, or out of balance tire being the problem. Start with the harmonic balancer, then maybe check the motor mounts, then if nothing check tranny and converter as stated above^...

doesnt really make any noise just vibrates, feels the worst towards the console so a good chance it could be the converter or flexplate i guess, vibrates a little at idle in park and the more you rev it the worse it does it. sorry the info isnt the best, like i said its a friends car.

I think with a trans mount it would "slap" the car more than vibrate.

I have a similar vibration...my car pulls alot of timing when driving around on the streets (o2 wiring prob) so I always wrote it off as that...I put the Ls1 DS in mine also...didnt help a bit...dropped my ET though!!

Good luck!

it probably is the flexplate if thats where its coming from. maybe a motor mount. id check the motor mounts before you drop the tranny lol
