Canton Valve Cover Owners Please Read
I have them but not installed yet and I have one simple maybe dumb quesiton about these covers. Are gaskets needed for these covers? It seems like they almosts snap onto the head. If they do need gaskets can someone tell me if I need a certain type or just use the factory ones?
Also p.s. I heard rumors of some people saying they have clearance issues with them, anyone have that problem? I'm running a 1.6 RR's and a cam with a 600 lift, think I'll have an issue?
Thanks.

I had to ding em out a bit just on the passenger side where the notch is so the rocker wouldnt rub on the side......but it worked out fine.
And yes go get yourself some rubber gaskets

Yes you need gaskets - I reused my stock rubber ones. They clear my crane golds with plenty of room, but I had to bend my tranny fluid dipstick a bit back to clear the passenger side cover on my '93. No biggie at all, took literally like 3 seconds.
