Default LTx Shootout who all is bracket racing?

Ok, so we've heard plenty about who all is going to run 8s, 9s, etc. I'd like to see how many slower cars are coming out, (hope I'm not the only one, lol).

So, post in this thread if you are coming to the shootout and will be in either of the bracket classes, and what you expect to run. I'm guessing probably mid-high 12s for me.

I will more than likely be running the bracket class. I thought about extreme street but I dont think 10.80s (or so, on spray) would be enough to compete. The car at the moment is running 11.80s all motor with plans this winter for upgrades. Time will tell.

I plan on running two classes at the shoot-out; LTX bracket 12.49 and faster and also the LTX heads-up N/A. I checked with Tony and said you can run two classes. I race the NHRA Summit series every year and go to the Div-4 finals, so I do a lot of bracket racing.

Once they qualify the 32 cars in the heads-up classes, I would like to see the cars paired-up in a “two-sided” ladder for the for the elimination rounds. Where; one side the #1 qualifier is paired with #32, the other side #2 with #31 and on from there. With the two-sided ladder paring format, the #1 and #2 qualifiers (if they win out) can not meet until the final round. A 32 car field will be five elimination rounds.

This is why you get or rent a truck.

I am probably going to run the brackets since there is nothing else my slow car fits into...

I am hoping to be running close to an 11.75 or better by then...
