Default Opti question

I got a new opti and put it in. I just remembered that the screws have a tendency of backing out on them. Unfortunately the opti is already in, does it really matter if the little screws that hold the cap are lock-tited down or just left alone?

I would "highly recommend" placing thread-locker on the rotor screws. I've had them get loose on both the GMs and MSD Optis. What brand Opti did you use? For the MSD Optis I also recommend a replacement allen socket-head machine screw with flat washer for the rotors.

now im nervous that my opti is going to spontaneously combust again. the whole reason it died was that one of the two inside screws came loose
