A stock bottom end will hold a 100 shot.
With your setup, I don't see why you couldn't run a 200-250 shot. Thats why it's so important to run Forged internals. But pulling the timing out on the nitrous is VERY important to keep the engine from detonating and destroying your engine. Personally I'd say go with high compression say 11:1 to 12:1, Look into a larger Cam. And I'd say do some more work to the heads...Maybe send them to Lloyd Elliot or AI or Port Pros for some good port work. The LE2 Package is an awesome Package for the money. And he claims 400+ RWHP with this setup. Just my .02
Good Luck with your build.

i agree with what they said above. get your heads cleaned up. 383's love as much air as you can feed them. good luck with your build. im working on one also. one thing i have learned... what you listed above is only the tip of the iceberg.

Ditto with regards to the head porting. NA cars, especially a larger displacement 383 will need some head work to feed it properly. Have a cam selected by the person porting the heads. With good forged parts as said above, the motor is will handle a lot more than a 100 shot, and that's when it gets fun!

The car is going to be my daily driver so i didn't wanna get a huge cam and then kill my mpg. I was wanting to hit 370 or higher to the wheels with the things i have listed n/a, then however much more i could gain with spray. Is that possible or will i need more port work with the heads?

The stroker kit that i'm ordering you can have the rotating assembly balanced for an additional charge. By doing this, can i just drop everything in then? I know that i'll have to have the machine shop do some clearing on the oil pan rails and the cam, punching it out, align bore, hottank, deck to zero, honed and what not, but I want to do as much of this project as i can by myself.
I'm looking at a set of LE1's now. I sent Lloyd Elliot a email yesterday to see what he thinks.

Cool, let us know what Lloyd says.... Definentely do more to the heads at least. I'd say LE2. At least that way you won't have to worry about them again if you upgrade the cam later.
