Default Cylinder Head Question

Probably a stupid question, but I am new to the high performance world. I know that the more air your heads flow the more power you will make obviously, but I have been told that you will make more power you will make it on the top end of the rpm range, and actually lose it on the bottom end is this try, or do you make more power throughout the whole rpm range, just make more in the upper? anyone that knows I would appreciate the info... Thanks

A larger cam will push your powerband up, not the heads.

like wanabe said, the cam will determine how ur powerband goes, heads just allow more air flow with the increased lift/duration from the cam.

Results? I've never seen a dyno before and after of someone only doing heads, so you may very well be right.
