Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy stock '95 GM LT1 engine parts. I'm looking for a new timing chain, lifters and gasket sets but don't know of too many places besides summit and thunder racing that seem to want and aweful lot for stock replacement parts. All suggestions welcome.

You can run a stock sbc timing chain if you run an electric water pump. A good roller sbc chain will run around 50-75 bucks, and an electric water pump is around 160 at summit. Some of the gaskets are shared with a sbc. I had really good luck going to a local machine shop and buying the needed gaskets there. maybe you could call around in your area. Last time I checked a new replacement stock LT1 timing chain and sprockets was at or just over 200 bucks.
