Default LS1 Driveshaft Swap Q's...

Yes I used the search button, I just wasn't for sure about 93's because they are different, and Dial-Up sucks.

I am wanting to get an aluminum LS1 DS because my old stocker is way out of balance and vibrates at higher speeds. I've heard of lots of people doing this so i decided to give it a shot, now for the questions.

1. Will it be a direct bolt in for my car?

2. Will I be able to use the stock part numbered U-joints?

3. Is there any posatives or negatives to this?

All help will be appriciated. The car is a 93 Formula, M6, Mods in sig.

Nothing has been tampered with except for the clutch, driveline wise everything is still stock.

Thanks,
Dusty

Direct Bolt-in..I put one in my 95, you don't have to change anything. It's alot smoother..

I ran the LS aluminum for a while, but then had a custom 3 1/2" aluminum drive-shaft built here in OKC. If you need an LS aluminum, PM me (balanced w/ new U-joints). We're both local.
