Either get the MSD opti and it converts it without all the extra stuff or stay with stock pieces. If you do the stock pieces you will need the vented opti, all the fresh air hoses and pigtail for the opti, different size cam dowel, and timing cover.

What exactly is your purpose in changing over to a vented optispark? Looking at upgrading timing sets (limited options for 1994), or just want to prolong optispark longevity?

If the latter, you can technically modify your factory optispark to be vented for about $5. I did it years back -- molded a vacuum fitting to the cap, and drilled out the three 'drain holes' along the bottom of the rear plate (in which, I strung three vacuum fittings together). Yeah, I was bored and wanted to try it. Worked like a charm. Only thing you might want to order is the GM vacuum harness.

Otherwise, yeah, you'll have to follow what Porksoda said.

If your just gonna do the msd cap and rotor kit just get the one for the 94 msd converts it to a vented for ya. I'd say the only advantage to converting it to a 95-97 style opti would be the more options for timing chains.

Here is a good site that describes the parts you need to do the conversion. It may be an older site, so the cost of the parts is probably different now, but Jason Cromer at Sam Taylor Buick Cadillac usually has pretty good prices on all this stuff. If I was doing a cam swap as you are, I would definitely spend a few extra bucks and do the conversion.
