Default a/c relocation bracket

i am putting an lt1 engine in a 68 pickup... i am told the Caddy engines' a/c will hit the frame rail...
can you tell me if this corvette bracket will solve my problem? there is a pic, but am unable to get it to paste..

Item: engine AC compressor mounting bracket

Description: This was removed from a 1994 Chevy Corvette C4 LT1 5.7L. This is used, but is not broken or cracked. I am not sure what all years or models this might be the same for. The part number is 1250052.

Using the Corvette accessory bracket necessitates the use of a Corvette harmonic damper. The reason being is that the Vette accessory bracket spaces the accessory pullies 16mm further out from the block than the Camaro bracket. The stock Camaro/Caprice damper will not line up with the other pullies using the Vette bracket.

thank you.. i guess that explains why aftermarket companies market a complete billet set..
