Default Pinion Angle and Bolts

Ok so I bought a body mounted torque arm from UMI w/ a magnetic angle finder. What should I set my pinion angle at? Also I didn't buy the hardware kit for an aftermarket torque arm. I kinda forgot and I need to get this on as soon as it gets here and I know I need 9/16" size but what length and stuff?

pinion angle @ -2 degrees. i would just pay for overnight shipping on the hardware for the torque arm bolts, dont wanna half *** those bad boys. it will be tough to find ones that long at a local hardware store.

you dont think a lowes or home depot would have that long of bolts? I really think 20 bucks for 2 bolts is kinda steep. I used to work at lowes and I can get that stuff a lot cheaper than 20 bucks.

you dont want to half *** it, i broke a torque arm bolt already and tried to find a lowes replacement, couldnt find anything. it may seem expensive, but you get what you pay for.

These are very special bolts. You won't find them. You'll need to get them from UMI. All the guys that make TA's offer these bolts, they're specially made for this application. Length, size and grade. Even if you found a hardware bolt in the size, you'll break it.

I run -3 i think it helped my vibration around 90. I have no ill effects.I wouldn't worry about going -1 or -2, i don't think you will notice a difference.

i would stick with -2, most people are running that setup, anything different and you are going to notice rattling and extreme vibration. just speaking from experience

I run -3 but I dont drive my car on the street a whole lot. I think -2 would be good if you are going to drive it alot.
