Default Honest Opinions on Bosch O2s

If you happened to catch my other threads, heres an update. Got the Bosch's warrantied, swapped em, and haven't fired the car since. I would like to make one race b4 they get fried so I will let it sit as long as I can.

Does EVERYONE think Bosch O2s blow sack or what?? I hear Delco's are better and that may be what I end up doing.

This is what I have been told, would like to get input from experience members......
.
.
Due to me running LTs and thus moving O2s back, this causes the sensors to read incorrectly and are not actually "heated up" once the car hits closed loop, causing a rich condition for quite some time. Makes sense, sounds good....any validity to it??

Really need to get this issue solved for good, I have a long season coming up and even tho my parts guy takes care of me...he isn't gonna warranty a pair of O2s every 2 months.

Thanks In Advance!

Here's a longer thread on this:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-modifications/769980-why-do-some-people-say-you-can-t-run-bosch-o2-sensors-lt1-s.html

they seem to work ok for some, but numerous problems are also reported. I would stay with ac delco for o2s.

From what I can tell, a lot more people on camaroz28 report having issues with the bosch ones than on this forum, so I would do some searching there as well.

Delcos are the way to go. Bosch are really hit and miss on bad and good ones.

I haven't had any problems with my Boschs yet, but EFF YOU ALL IF YOU CURSE ME!!

Also mines a 93, so the $18 variety, and non-heated.

I sell Bosch and Ac Delco. Ive always used Ac Delco, I really havent seen any problems with the Lt1's using Bosch but have seen quite a few LS1's with problems.

AC Delcos! Bosch like said are hit and miss and are particularly hard to tune in for some reason.

The problem with Ac Delco is they don't make there own parts anymore they are out sourced through other manufacters. But I'd still stick with the Ac Delco line O2's.

I've always used Delcos, I got them cheap from Sam Taylor, about 26-30$ each, rather cheap for a dealer part.

Every time I have used Bosch they have given me trouble. At one point in time I replaced my O2s with Bosch and 3 days later popped a code for my O2 sensors. took em in and replaced em with Delco and didnt have a problem...From now on I stick with ACDelco.
