Are Ls1 shifters the same as Lt1 shifters (A4)??

Need to find out, someone wants to buy a spare stock A4 shifter I have for his LS1 swap into a non 4th gen and I was wondering if my Lt1 A4 shifter will work for him. Anyone know?

Think it's the same..don't see any reason really why it would be different..
