Default will my car have 2 be tuned again?

my camaro used to have a cc306 cam in it then it was changed to a smaller cam, this was all done before i owned the car. they got the car tuned for the 306 but not the smaller cam, so it needs tuning pretty badly. So what i am asking is will i have to get it tuned again when i put the 306 back in it someday?

It will probably be ok, unless you notice it doing something weird.

If the cam is a lot smaller you probably won't want as much timing as the 306 would want.

if the car was tuned for the 306 but has the smaller cam in it now then when u change back to the 306 i would think it would be fine, sense that is what the original tune was for.

i would either tune it or swap the cams back to the 306 but i would do one or the other pretty fast, if ur gonna keep the smaller cam in it for awhile before u swap em then get it tuned dude, at least a mail-order one hehe

Or get another PCM and have it tuned for the smaller one, and then swap PCMs when you re-re-swap cams... heh

agreed. but another option is get it tuned now and then a place like pcmforless all other tunes will only be 50$ for when u upgrade the cam back.
